The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended an official invitation to party stakeholders nationwide for a high-level National Summit scheduled to hold on Wednesday, May 22, 2025, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Themed “Renewed Hope Agenda: The Journey So Far,” the summit is expected to bring together top government officials, party leaders, legislators, governors, and key policy influencers to reflect on the progress made under the administration’s flagship development blueprint — the Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to a statement from the APC National Secretariat, the event will commence by 10:00 a.m. prompt, and will feature keynote addresses, strategic presentations, and interactive sessions focused on governance milestones, economic reforms, social investment programmes, national security efforts, and future directions for the ruling party.
This summit is seen as a major platform for evaluating policy implementation since President Bola Ahmed Tinubu assumed office, as well as reaffirming the APC’s commitment to delivering on its campaign promises. It also provides an avenue for robust internal dialogue and feedback among party members on achievements, gaps, and the path forward.
The party has urged all invited stakeholders to attend punctually, describing the gathering as a significant moment of reflection, accountability, and strategic re-alignment for both the APC and the nation at large.
The Renewed Hope Agenda, launched in 2023, forms the cornerstone of the current administration’s vision for national revival, focusing on areas such as economic diversification, job creation, power sector reform, digital transformation, and inclusive governance.
As expectations build ahead of the event, many observers view the summit as an opportunity for the APC to communicate its policy scorecard directly to party faithful and the wider public, while consolidating its political capital going into the second half of President Tinubu’s first term.
