The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, received His Excellency Vyacheslav Bril, the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Nigeria, in a farewell audience at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja.
The meeting served as an opportunity for both diplomats to reflect on the progress made in Nigeria-Belarus relations during Ambassador Bril’s tenure. Discussions during the engagement focused on areas of mutual interest, including trade, education, technology, and diplomatic cooperation. Both parties expressed commitment to sustaining and expanding the gains recorded in bilateral ties.
Ambassador Tuggar commended Bril for his contributions to fostering stronger relations between the two countries, describing him as a dedicated envoy who worked to enhance understanding and collaboration.
