GOMERM Hosts 2025 Covenant Day with Theme of Hope and Resurrection

As part of its Easter season activities, God’s Mercy Revival Ministries (GOMERM) has announced the hosting of its 2025 Covenant Day service, scheduled to hold this Sunday, April 20, at the ministry’s Mercy Campground, located at Kilometre 4, Papa Lanto Road, off the Sagamu-Ibadan Expressway in Ofada, Ogun State.

In a statement released on Thursday and signed by Pastor Femi Kolawole, the ministry revealed that the theme of this year’s Covenant Day is “Covenant Power: Resurrection of Hope.” The service is expected to be a power-packed gathering, featuring prophetic ministration and music, with the General Overseer of the church, Dr. James Akanbi, set to lead the event.

Also ministering in songs is renowned gospel artiste, Tobi Akuraku, alongside GOMERM’s signature choir, The Zion Voices, whose spirited worship is a staple at the church’s major programmes.

According to Pastor Kolawole, the event is open to the public, and the ministry is making adequate provisions for free transportation and feeding for all attendees, in its commitment to ensuring access to the life-transforming encounter.

He highlighted that previous editions of the Covenant Day service have been marked by notable testimonies, including breakthroughs in employment, fruitfulness for those previously termed barren, scholarship awards for international education, deliverance from prolonged stagnation and demonic oppression, and several other miraculous interventions.

“Over the years, the Covenant Day service has become a prophetic meeting point where destinies are rewritten. There have been countless testimonies of favour, supernatural turnarounds, restoration, and divine upliftment,” Kolawole said.

The ministry encouraged all to come with expectations of a divine encounter, as the theme symbolises not just the celebration of Christ’s resurrection, but the awakening of individual hope and purpose through God’s covenant power.
