The Kaduna State Government has pledged to intensify efforts against criminal gangs terrorizing communities across the state, vowing to dismantle their networks and restore peace and security.
Speaking on Wednesday, Governor Uba Sani stated that his administration will leave no stone unturned in dealing decisively with banditry, kidnapping, and other violent crimes that have plagued rural and urban areas alike.
The governor disclosed that recent security meetings with military and police leaders have resulted in a new offensive targeting hideouts in Birnin Gwari, Chikun, Giwa, and Kajuru local government areas.
He also called on residents to support the government’s efforts by providing timely and credible information, while assuring them of protection and confidentiality.
The renewed security push comes amid growing concerns over rising insecurity in parts of the state, with communities suffering repeated attacks and abductions.
Governor Sani reiterated that his administration remains committed to protecting lives, securing investments, and ensuring the safety of every resident of Kaduna State.
