The Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has a new Secretary, Mr. AbdulHakeem Ajomagberin, who resumed office on Wednesday. He was warmly welcomed by the heads of departments, units, and other staff members. Ajomagberin is committed to making the Board a model of service delivery, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and staff support. His primary goal is to provide a comfortable and conducive experience for pilgrims during the Hajj and Umrah exercises.

Ajomagberin, a seasoned administrator, previously served as the Director of Administration and Human Resource at the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board. His experience and expertise are expected to bring significant improvements to the Board’s operations. The staff has assured him of their loyalty, cooperation, and support, just as they did for his predecessor, Mr. Saheed Onipede.

With Ajomagberin at the helm, the Board is poised to enhance its service delivery and provide a better experience for Muslim pilgrims in Lagos State. The Board is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the Hajj and Umrah exercises, ensuring pilgrims’ safety, well-being, and spiritual fulfillment. As Ajomagberin settles into his new role, he is expected to build on the Board’s strengths and address areas for improvement, ultimately having a positive impact on the Board’s operations and the experience of Muslim pilgrims.
