The Lagos State College of Nursing (LASCON) has officially inducted its new Provost, Mrs. Oyefunso Orenuga, into office. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the College Hall in Yaba, Lagos, and was attended by key stakeholders, including Hon. Oladele Ajayi, Chairman of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Establishment, Training, and Pension; the former Acting Provost, now Deputy Provost (Administration), Mrs. Oyeronke Uthman-Izobo; Deputy Provost (Academics), Dr. Olaronke Agoro; members of the College; family members of the new Provost; and well-wishers .
Mrs. Orenuga succeeded Mrs. Oyeronke Uthman-Izobo, who had served as Acting Provost of the College prior to the appointment of the new Provost. The event marked a significant milestone in the leadership of LASCON, with the new Provost pledging to uphold the institution’s commitment to excellence in nursing education and healthcare service delivery.
