Mashariq Al Dhahabiah Briefs Lagos Official on Enhanced Pilgrim Services in Makkah

In a gesture of hospitality and operational transparency, Mashariq Al Dhahabiah Company, one of the leading Hajj service providers in Saudi Arabia, formally briefed Lagos State Hajj Board official, Abdulrazaq Mohammed, on the range of services designed to ensure a smooth and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage experience for Lagos pilgrims.

The briefing, which took place after a warm reception at the Service Centre 201 in Makkah, was part of the company’s commitment to maintaining seamless communication with Nigerian Hajj authorities and upholding the high standards expected for the 2025 Hajj exercise.

During the session, Mashariq representatives outlined key service areas including accommodation arrangements in Makkah and Mina, transportation logistics, feeding schedules, crowd control strategies, and emergency response systems. The company also highlighted improvements in tent facilities at Mina and Arafat, designed to provide enhanced comfort and safety for pilgrims throughout the five-day peak period of Hajj rites.

Mr. Abdulrazaq Mohammed, who represented the Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, commended Mashariq for its early coordination efforts and emphasized the importance of prompt service delivery, particularly in the areas of health care and transportation. He expressed optimism that with such proactive engagements, Lagos pilgrims would enjoy a hitch-free and spiritually rewarding pilgrimage.

“Lagos State is committed to ensuring the welfare of all its pilgrims. This briefing shows that Mashariq is taking its responsibilities seriously. We are partners in ensuring that every pilgrim gets the best service in accordance with international standards and the expectations of the Saudi authorities,” Mohammed stated.

The Lagos official further stressed the need for real-time updates and open lines of communication throughout the Hajj period, noting that timely information sharing between service providers and Nigerian officials is crucial for managing large crowds and responding to pilgrims’ needs.

The interaction at Centre 201 also provided an opportunity to address concerns raised from previous Hajj operations and allowed for feedback on areas requiring attention, especially as pilgrims prepare for the sacred journey from Makkah to Mina and beyond.

As preparations intensify for the core days of the Hajj, both parties reaffirmed their shared commitment to upholding the dignity and safety of Nigerian pilgrims and ensuring that Lagos State’s delegation enjoys world-class service delivery throughout their spiritual exercise.
