Minister Unveils Books on Tinubu’s Reforms at Democracy Day Public Lecture

Abuja, Nigeria – June 15, 2025

The Honorable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, on Sunday presented three newly published books that chronicle the achievements and reform agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

The unveiling took place during a Public Lecture in Commemoration of Nigeria’s 26th Democracy Day Anniversary, held in Abuja. The books, titled “Tinubunomics”, “Leading With Courage”, and “Turning Challenges into Opportunities”, were presented as comprehensive commentaries on the President’s leadership style, economic policies, and resilience in the face of national challenges.

While speaking at the event, Minister Idris said the books were developed as part of the administration’s commitment to documentation, transparency, and national reorientation. He noted that the works reflect the government’s drive for transformative change and its efforts to build a resilient economy and inclusive governance.

“These publications are not only an intellectual tribute to the President’s bold reforms, but also a roadmap for understanding the principles guiding Nigeria’s current development path,” the Minister said.

The lecture was attended by government officials, academics, civil society groups, and members of the diplomatic community. It formed part of a series of events marking Nigeria’s 26th year of uninterrupted democratic governance.

The books are expected to be made available to libraries, universities, and research centres across the country.
