Ministry of Hajj Finalizes Stoning Timetables for Tashreeq Days

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially finalized and released the stoning schedules for the Days of Tashreeq, as part of efforts to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the Hajj rites for millions of pilgrims currently in the Kingdom.

The stoning ritual (Ramy al-Jamarat), a key part of the Hajj pilgrimage, involves throwing pebbles at three symbolic pillars in Mina over a three-day period following the Day of Arafah and Eid al-Adha. The Ministry has structured the timetable to manage crowd movement efficiently and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.

According to the schedule, pilgrims will be grouped into clusters based on their countries and accommodation zones, with each group assigned specific time slots to perform the ritual at Jamarat Bridge. Officials noted that this arrangement aims to reduce congestion and facilitate a seamless flow of human traffic.

Saudi authorities have deployed thousands of security personnel, health workers, and volunteers across the Mina area to support the operation. Pilgrims have been advised to adhere strictly to their allocated times to avoid delays or penalties.

The Ministry also emphasized the importance of following the instructions given by marshals and Hajj guides to safeguard lives and preserve the sanctity of the rites.

Over 1.5 million pilgrims are expected to perform the stoning ritual this year.
