Miss Osun, Joy Raimi, Wins Miss World Nigeria 2025 Title

Joy Mojisola Raimi, a 24-year-old from Osun State, has emerged as the winner of the highly anticipated Miss World Nigeria 2025 competition. The announcement was made by the founder of the Silverbird Group, Ben Murray-Bruce, via a post on X.com on Saturday.

The grand finale of the prestigious pageant took place at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, where 37 contestants from across Nigeria vied for the coveted title. Raimi, a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, is deeply passionate about humanitarian work and is the founder of “The Love for Humanity” project, which focuses on spreading love and restoring faith in humanity.

During the final round of the competition, Raimi shared her powerful personal story, revealing how growing up without a mother and enduring constant bullying from her caregiver shaped her resilience and determination. She went on to impress the judges as she competed against other top contestants, including Miss Imo, Miss Ebonyi, Miss Abuja, and Miss Abia. When asked about overcoming the challenges of bullying, Raimi emotionally recounted her experience of being told she would never achieve anything in life. Despite these discouraging words, she has proven her critics wrong by achieving this significant milestone.

As Miss World Nigeria 2025, Joy Raimi will now represent the country at the 72nd Miss World pageant, which will be held in Hyderabad, India, from May 7 to May 31. There, she will compete alongside contestants from over 140 countries for the prestigious international title.
