The leading Socio-religious Islamic Organisation, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), has announced Friday, March 28 as its Laylatul Qodr, (the Night of Majesty) for the ongoing Ramadan, 1446A.H 2025.

While making the announcement, NASFAT President, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulRauf AbdulWahid, said the annual convergence is going to feature intense prayers, Adkhir, and unreserved supplications from the faithful who are seeking the forgiveness and mercy of their Lord.

AbdulWahid stressed that the grand event is aimed at providing avenue for spiritual upliftment, and socialisation in a Halal environment.

He noted that besides multitude of non-member Muslims who would be present at the prayer, this year’s edition of the Laylatul Qodr would feature all the NASFAT members from its Zonal and Branch formations from Oyo, Ogun and Lagos States.

He added that other members from other formations from other States of the federation would converge at other designated locations from across the country.

Kiin360 gathered that the event had initially been scheduled for this Friday, March 21, but was rescheduled for logistic reasons.

In a statement by the National Da’awah Officer of NASFAT, Imam AbdulGaniy Raji, NASFAT stressed that the Night of Majesty, which has been described by the Qur’an as a single night of blessing that is equivalent to one thousand nights, falls within the odd numbers of the last ten days of Ramadan.

Raji enjoined Muslims to therefore seek the blessings of Allah during the special night.

He said Muslim should begin to search for the night with uninterrupted Ta’ajjud and supplications from the 20th day of the Ramadan fasting.

“In view of this, NASFAT had chosen 28th March, 2025, equivalent to 29th Ramadan, 1446A.H to observe a mega laylatulqodr programme for her members in Ogun, Oyo and Lagos States at Km. 36, Lagos /Ibadan express way, Mowe/Ibafo, Ogun State Nigeria.

“The event will feature Soul inspiring tafsir, and lectures, Power packed prayers, Nawafils led by international Islamic scholars as well as charity.

While praying for the success of the annual Laylatulqodr, The Chief missioner of NASFAT, Imam Maruf AbdulAzeez Onike urged everyone to maintain decorum, observe their daily solat, ensure to keep to all rules of Ramadan and continue to stay awake to pray during the last ten days of Ramadan,” he added
