August 29, 2025 — The United States government has approved a fresh $825 million arms deal to Ukraine, underscoring its continued military support for Kyiv in the face of Russia’s ongoing invasion.
According to the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency, the package includes advanced missile systems, logistics, and training support aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s air defense and battlefield capabilities. The deal is expected to enhance Ukraine’s ability to counter Russian offensives and protect critical infrastructure.
Washington emphasized that the sale aligns with its commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity while promoting stability in Europe. The package will also create and sustain jobs within the US defense industry.
