18th NASFAT National Youth Conference (NYC), Eko’25 Day 2: Badagry City Tour

The second day of the 18th NASFAT National Youth Conference (NYC), Eko 2025, took participants on a deeply enlightening and culturally enriching tour of Badagry – a historic coastal town renowned for its pivotal role in Nigeria’s heritage and the transatlantic slave trade era. This carefully curated excursion served as both an educational and spiritual experience, allowing youths from across the country to walk through living history, appreciate the sacrifices of the past, and reflect on the importance of unity, resilience, and faith in building a better future.

From visits to iconic landmarks such as the Slave Relics Museum, the First Storey Building in Nigeria, to the spiritual symbolism of the Point of No Return, the Badagry tour offered more than just sightseeing—it was a journey into identity, memory, and purpose, perfectly aligned with the conference’s theme of growth, impact, and transformation.
