Zuhair Bin Abdul Hamid Sadayo, Chief Executive Officer of Rawaf Mina Company, has assured Nigerian pilgrims of top-class accommodation arrangements for the 2025 Hajj exercise, stating that 2,800 bed spaces have been secured within the prestigious Tent A+ area.
Speaking during an inspection visit attended by officials of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and representatives of the Nigerian delegation, Sadayo explained that the Tent A+ area is specifically reserved for VIP pilgrims and offers superior facilities compared to regular tents. He stressed that the arrangements were made to ensure that Nigerian pilgrims under NAHCON’s VIP category enjoy comfort, safety, and convenience during their stay at Mina.
Sadayo emphasized that the tents are equipped with modern amenities including air-conditioning units, comfortable bedding, improved sanitation facilities, and better spacing to accommodate pilgrims in line with international Hajj standards. He added that Rawaf Mina Company, which has been officially contracted by NAHCON for this purpose, is committed to upholding its obligations and delivering excellent services throughout the Hajj period.
Reacting to the briefing, NAHCON officials expressed satisfaction with the quality of preparations, while noting that the welfare of Nigerian pilgrims remains a top priority for the Commission. They urged Rawaf Mina Company to ensure that all services promised are provided as agreed and to swiftly address any concerns that may arise during the Hajj operations.
The allocation of Tent A+ facilities to Nigerian VIP pilgrims marks a significant improvement in Nigeria’s Hajj logistics, reflecting NAHCON’s ongoing efforts to enhance the pilgrimage experience for its citizens. It is expected that this upgrade will significantly ease the physical challenges pilgrims often face during the symbolic rites at Mina, where millions of Muslims from around the world converge.
Meanwhile, NAHCON continues to work closely with service providers in Saudi Arabia to finalize other key arrangements, including transportation, feeding, and health services, ahead of the commencement of the 2025 Hajj rituals.
