A 65-year-old Nigerian pilgrim was successfully resuscitated by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) after experiencing a sudden cardiac arrest and respiratory failure inside the Miqat Mosque in Madinah during the ongoing 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.

The prompt intervention by SRCA medical personnel at the mosque ensured the pilgrim was stabilized and transported to a nearby medical facility for further treatment. Officials commended the swift response, which played a critical role in saving the pilgrim’s life.
