Naples, Italy – June 15, 2025
Italian Serie A giants Napoli are reportedly preparing a €50 million bid for Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, as the club seeks to bolster its attacking options ahead of the new season.
According to transfer sources, Napoli have identified the Atalanta winger as a key target, following his impressive performances in the 2024/2025 campaign. Lookman played a pivotal role in Atalanta’s attacking setup, ending the season with double-digit goals and assists, and recently gaining global acclaim with a hat-trick in the Europa League final.
Atalanta, however, are said to be holding out for €60 million, valuing the 26-year-old highly given his age, form, and growing market demand.
Negotiations are expected to continue in the coming days, with Napoli hopeful of reaching an agreement. Lookman, who joined Atalanta from RB Leipzig, has become one of the most sought-after forwards in Europe.
If the deal materializes, it would mark one of Napoli’s biggest signings in recent seasons, signaling intent to challenge for the Scudetto and make a deeper run in Europe.
