In a bold step toward leveraging technology in the fight against corruption, the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to drive innovation-driven anti-corruption strategies.
The MOU signing, which took place at NASENI Headquarters, saw the Chairman of ICPC, Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, SAN, received by the CEO of NASENI, Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, amid optimism about the potential impact of the partnership.
The collaboration aims to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies into anti-corruption frameworks, introducing smarter, more transparent systems in public service and governance.
Speaking at the event, both leaders emphasized that the synergy will unlock new pathways in detecting, tracking, and preventing corruption, while fostering accountability and efficiency within Nigeria’s public sector.
This strategic alliance marks a forward-thinking milestone in national efforts to redefine the anti-corruption landscape through technological advancement.
