Cleric Admonishes Muslims to remain steadfast amidst crises

The National dawah officer and secretary to the mission board of NASFAT ,Imam Abdul Ganiy Raji has admonished Muslims to remain calm and be steadfast all the days of their lives especially during crises situations in order not to go astray from the guidance of their creator Almighty Allah.

Imam Raji made this assertions during his key note lecture at the just concluded Nasfat ogun zone 2 women conference that was held at Equity resort hotel multipurpose hall ijebu ode ogun state .

The secretary national mission board emphasized the essence of steadfastness amidst crisis as a key factor to seek God guidance in order not to go astray before one can overcome the unpleasant situation.

He pointed out that hard time is not attributed to sins alone,hence Muslims must be prepared for hard times adding that all refined gold have passed through the test of fire, so also should believers be ready for God to test their faith through series of storms, which is the theme of the conference,Faith through the storm ;An Islamic approach to overcoming hardship with strength and grace .

The cleric warned all Muslims to shun the abuse of people in crisis, maintaining that hardship has no burder it could be at anywhere anytime so that the host of the hardship will not go depressed.

Hajia Dr Mariam Abdul Lateet in her own lecture which centered on mental health challenges and solutions, identified stress, anxiety and domestic violence as primary causes of mental illness especially in women.

She now advised Muslim women to be watchful of themselves in order for early detections of members who may be suffering from mental health before it goes out of control.

She advised women to observe adequate rest to manage their responsibilities and productivity.

Dr Mariam also encouraged men to be of help to their wives whenever they noticed stress on their faces to avoid the story that touches.
