Nottingham Forest head coach Ange Postecoglou has indicated that defender Ola Aina is a doubt for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Arsenal following an injury sustained on international duty.
Aina was forced off just ten minutes into Nigeria’s 2026 World Cup qualifying match against South Africa earlier in the week with what appeared to be a hamstring problem.
Speaking at his first press conference since taking charge of Forest, Postecoglou said the squad had no injury concerns apart from Aina, noting that further medical assessments would determine the defender’s availability for the weekend fixture.
The coach added that while the rest of the team is fit, Aina’s fitness will be closely monitored before a final decision is made on his inclusion.
