LAGOS – In a spirited move underscoring his administration’s commitment to national progress, President Bola Tinubu has arrived in the nation’s economic nerve centre, Lagos, for a significant working visit.
The President’s arrival sets the stage for a purposeful week leading to Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, with a focus on honouring the nation’s legacy and fuelling its future.
Fresh from representing the nation at the majestic coronation of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, President Tinubu has immediately embarked on a packed schedule aimed at driving growth.
According to a statement from his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President will engage with key captains of industry and senior government officials during his stay, reinforcing the crucial partnership between the government and the private sector in building a more prosperous Nigeria.
The visit culminates in a proud national moment on Independence Day, when the President will officially inaugurate the magnificently remodelled National Theatre, a beacon of Nigerian heritage now reborn as the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts. This landmark event symbolizes a renewed commitment to celebrating the nation’s rich cultural tapestry and creative ingenuity.
Demonstrating his dedication to development across all regions, the President will also travel to Imo State on Tuesday, September 30, to commission landmark projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma, showcasing the tangible dividends of democracy being delivered to the good people of Nigeria.
