Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has called on indigenes and residents to actively participate in the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise ahead of the state’s August 8, 2026 governorship election.
The governor’s appeal was contained in a statement issued on Monday in Osogbo by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed. He described voter registration as a critical civic duty and urged all eligible voters to ensure they are duly captured in the ongoing exercise.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) commenced the nationwide CVR today, Monday, with online pre-registration available through its official portal.
