August 25, 2025 — Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle, reassigning some commissioners to new portfolios in what government officials described as a strategic move to strengthen governance and enhance service delivery.
The announcement, made on Monday through the Secretary to the State Government, stated that the reshuffle was aimed at repositioning key ministries for greater efficiency while ensuring alignment with the administration’s developmental agenda.
