Alkauthar CEO, Hajiya Rabiatu Umar, Facilitates NUSUK Card Collection for Pilgrims in Madina

In a move aimed at easing the travel experience for Nigerian pilgrims, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Alkauthar Travels and Tours Limited, Hajiya Rabiatu Umar, has taken proactive steps to ensure the timely collection of NUSUK cards for pilgrims under her agency in Madina.

The NUSUK card, an essential identification and access tool issued by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, is a requirement for pilgrims participating in the 2025 Hajj exercise. It enables access to religious sites, transport services, and other key pilgrimage logistics within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Hajiya Rabiatu was personally on ground at the Ministry’s office in Madina to oversee and facilitate the smooth issuance of the cards to Alkauthar pilgrims. Her direct involvement reflects the agency’s commitment to quality service delivery, accountability, and ensuring that pilgrims enjoy a seamless spiritual journey without administrative hitches.

“We are here to serve our pilgrims and make sure their spiritual journey is without stress,” she stated while speaking to officials during the process. “By taking charge of the NUSUK card collection, we are removing delays and confusion that often frustrate the experience of our pilgrims.”

Alkauthar Travels and Tours Limited, a licensed Hajj and Umrah operator, has continued to distinguish itself among private tour operators by prioritising the welfare and satisfaction of pilgrims through efficient coordination and compliance with Saudi regulations.

Many pilgrims under the Alkauthar umbrella have commended the effort, describing the gesture as timely and reassuring. For many first-timers in the holy land, the support of the agency has been instrumental in helping them navigate the often complex logistics of the pilgrimage.

The issuance of the NUSUK card is part of ongoing reforms by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to digitalise and streamline Hajj operations, reduce crowd pressure, and improve security and service delivery.
