Manchester United secured a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Chelsea at Old Trafford on Saturday, as Bruno Fernandes reached a remarkable double milestone.
The Portuguese midfielder marked his 200th Premier League appearance for the club by scoring his 100th goal in all competitions.
Fernandes opened the scoring in the 6th minute, demonstrating his continued influence in the attacking midfield role. Casemiro doubled the lead in the 37th minute before being sent off for a second yellow card. Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah pulled one back in the 80th minute, but United held on to claim all three points.
