The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that its recruitment portal will reopen on Monday, July 21, 2025, to allow applicants who have already initiated their applications to complete the process.
In a public update released on Saturday, July 20, CDCFIB advised candidates to revisit the portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng starting from the announced date to retrieve and finalize their pending applications. The Board emphasized that the application process is entirely free and warned applicants to be cautious of fraudsters.
According to the notice, the temporary shutdown of the portal was due to a high volume of submissions, prompting the need for a technical upgrade to enhance the system’s capacity. The agency expressed regret over the inconvenience caused and reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and equitable recruitment process.
“We sincerely apologize for the interruption in the application submission process,” the statement read. “It was necessary to enhance the system to ensure it can accommodate all applicants, thereby facilitating a seamless and fair recruitment process.”
The Board urged applicants to be patient and to ensure that all submitted information is accurate. Social media platforms and the official website will continue to provide updates and support throughout the recruitment period.
