The family of the late renowned business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, has confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has approved his burial in the Holy City of Madinah.
According to a statement from the family, preparations are currently ongoing for the Janazah (funeral prayer), which is scheduled to hold tomorrow at the Prophet’s Mosque, one of the most revered sites in Islam.
The Dantata family expressed deep gratitude to the Saudi authorities for the rare honour, describing it as a fitting tribute to the late patriarch’s devout life and enduring legacy.
Alhaji Aminu Dantata, a respected industrialist and philanthropist, passed away recently after decades of immense contribution to Nigeria’s economic development and Islamic community. His final resting place in Madinah aligns with his lifelong commitment to faith and service.
The funeral in Madinah is expected to draw dignitaries, religious scholars, and members of the Nigerian community in Saudi Arabia, as the nation mourns the passing of one of its most iconic business figures.
