In a public notice released on Monday, the DMO disclosed that the offer will remain open from Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12, 2025. The bonds are part of the Federal Government’s ongoing efforts to promote financial inclusion, encourage savings culture among Nigerians, and provide a secure investment channel for retail investors.

The offer comes with the following features:

2-Year FGN Savings Bond due July 10, 2027, at 16.262% per annum

3-Year FGN Savings Bond due July 10, 2028, at 16.762% per annum

The bonds are backed by the full faith and credit of the Federal Government and qualify as securities in which trustees can invest under the Trustee Investment Act. Interest payments will be made quarterly, with a minimum subscription of ₦5,000 and subsequent increments in multiples of ₦1,000, up to a maximum of ₦50 million.

The DMO has encouraged Nigerians to take advantage of this opportunity to invest in secure government-backed instruments that not only guarantee returns but also support national development.
