The Global President of the Ekiti State University (EKSU) Alumni Association, Dipo Bamisaye, has urged alumni members to collaborate and initiate impactful projects aimed at elevating the university’s reputation worldwide.
Speaking in Birmingham during the inauguration of the new executives of the EKSU Alumni Association, United Kingdom/Ireland chapter, Bamisaye emphasized the need for innovation, mentorship, and dedication to the university’s growth.
Congratulating the newly inaugurated leaders and commending the UK/Ireland chapter for its commitment to fostering a strong alumni network, he highlighted the vital role of collaboration and mentorship in both personal and institutional development.
“As alumni, we have a duty to support one another and give back to EKSU in ways that benefit the next generation,” Bamisaye stated.
He added, “This inauguration goes beyond leadership—it is about commitment, vision, and the continued growth of our esteemed institution. I encourage this new team to build on past successes, implement impactful initiatives, and strengthen ties within our global alumni community. Together, we can enhance EKSU’s reputation and make a lasting impact.”

In his acceptance speech, Chairman Hammed Nureni pledged to strengthen alumni engagement, foster professional collaborations, and contribute meaningfully to EKSU’s development and global recognition.
“I am committed to advancing the association’s objectives, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring that our chapter’s goals align with the vision of the global executives,” he affirmed.
