Former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), has called for a more strategic approach to harnessing global opportunities in sports, describing the sector as a viable tool for economic growth, youth empowerment, and international recognition.

Fashola commended the vision of stakeholders championing sports development in Lagos and across Nigeria, urging continued collaboration between government, private investors, and international partners to build sustainable sports ecosystems.
