FIFA Releases Full Fixtures for Expanded 2025 Club World Cup

The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has officially released the full fixture schedule for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, which is set to be the largest in the tournament’s history.

The expanded tournament, featuring 32 of the world’s top clubs, will run from Saturday, June 14 to Sunday, July 13, 2025, transforming the annual competition into a month-long celebration of global club football.

The opening match will see Egyptian giants Al Ahly face off against Inter Miami at 1:00 a.m. Nigerian time on Saturday, June 14.

The group stage will run for two weeks, with fans treated to mouthwatering encounters involving some of the biggest clubs in world football. Premier League sides Chelsea and Manchester City, as well as European heavyweights Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), will all feature in the early stages of the competition.

Among the standout group stage clashes are PSG vs Atlético Madrid on June 16, and Real Madrid vs Al Hilal on June 19.

The Round of 16 begins on Friday, June 28, continuing through July 1, while the quarter-finals are scheduled for July 4 and 5. Semi-final matches will take place on July 8 and 9, setting the stage for the grand final on Sunday, July 13.

In a move to ensure wider global reach, all matches will be streamed live and for free on DAZN.com, allowing fans worldwide to follow the action in real time.

The 2025 edition is historic as it marks the debut of FIFA’s newly expanded Club World Cup format, broadening participation from across all football confederations and raising the stakes for global supremacy at club level.
