Dr. Zacch Adedeji, the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), welcomed a delegation from the Internal Revenue Monitoring Committee (IRMC) on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. The delegation, part of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), visited FIRS to discuss critical matters relating to the monitoring and enhancement of the nation’s revenue generation systems.
The meeting underscored the importance of a strong partnership between FIRS and RMAFC, especially through the collaborative efforts of the IRMC. Dr. Adedeji reiterated the need for continuous improvement in tax collection and the administration of fiscal policies, stressing that such collaborations are vital in ensuring the efficient and transparent management of the country’s resources.
