First Batch of Royal Guests Arrive in Saudi Arabia for Hajj 2025

The inaugural group of pilgrims invited by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz has arrived in the holy city of Mecca ahead of the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage. This distinguished delegation comprises 305 individuals from 33 countries, marking the beginning of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj.

According to Abdullah Al Anzi, spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, the total number of pilgrims covered by the program is set to reach 3,300, representing 100 countries. These guests are welcomed upon arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, where reception committees provide them with quality services to ensure a comfortable and spiritual journey.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program offers comprehensive services to invitees from their departure in their home countries until their return after completing the rituals in and around Mecca. This initiative underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to facilitating access to Islam’s most sacred sites for Muslims worldwide.

Hajj is one of Islam’s five obligatory duties, and Muslims who are physically and financially able must perform Hajj at least once in their lifetime. The arrival of these royal guests signifies the Kingdom’s dedication to supporting Muslims and fostering spiritual connections through pilgrimage.
