The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has extended warm greetings to Muslims across the country on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha, also known as Eid-el-Kabir.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Senator Tinubu described the celebration as a time for deep reflection on the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, compassion, and faith. She urged Nigerians, particularly the Muslim faithful, to use the festive period to show kindness and generosity.
“This is a time to remember our neighbours and extend a hand of love and support, especially to the less privileged,” the First Lady said.
She also encouraged Nigerians to pray for the country’s continued peace, stability, and progress, emphasizing the significance of national unity in moving the country forward.
Senator Tinubu reaffirmed her commitment to supporting initiatives that uplift the lives of Nigerians and contribute to the wellbeing of society.
The First Lady concluded her message by wishing all Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid celebration.
