Today, at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, NASFAT marked a historic milestone, the 30th anniversary celebration and the public presentation of its History Book. The event drew a distinguished audience, including His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, the Sultan of Sokoto; the Comptroller General of Customs; representatives of the Minister of Justice; and many other dignitaries.
In his remarks, the Sultan of Sokoto paid glowing tribute to NASFAT, describing it as a society he has long admired and associated with, recalling even a visit to its Asese Mosque in the past. He lauded the beautiful story of NASFAT from a humble beginning to a national Islamic society and made a striking declaration: “I am proud of NASFAT in all ramifications.” According to him, this pride is not just symbolic, but purposeful . It is a testament to the society’s resilience, focus, and service to the Muslim Ummah. He praised the doggedness of NASFAT’s leadership and urged Muslims everywhere to support the organisation’s vision in multiple spheres.

The NASFAT President, in his own remarks, reaffirmed the society’s commitment to consistently propagating Islam with sincerity, wisdom, and service to humanity.
The book review was delivered by Professor Mahfouz Adedimeji, Vice Chancellor of the African School of Economics (Pan-African University of Excellence, Abuja). He described the publication as “spiritually inspiring and beyond academic”, a record of dedication, resilience, and divine reliance. He noted that the book chronicles NASFAT’s journey from a small prayer group into a global Islamic society, with lessons that will guide future generations. He strongly recommended it to researchers, Islamic scholars, and all who are interested in purposeful organisational growth.
The Sultan himself, in the foreword, commended NASFAT’s vision and leadership, stressing that the book should serve as a roadmap for conduct, service, and community development.

One of the highlights of the occasion was the public projection of Lasilkiin Media, NASFAT’s fast-growing communication company to the audience. Dr. Akeem Oyewole, a financial advisor made a compelling presentation on the company’s growth trajectory and invited investors to take advantage of the unique opportunities in this rising faith-based media enterprise.
The day was a blend of reflection, inspiration, and forward-looking optimism, a celebration of three decades of faith, service, and organisational excellence.
