The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, mni, was honoured at the Annual General Meeting and Award Presentation Ceremony of the Alumni Association of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (AANI), Kaduna Chapter, held on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
The event, which celebrated distinguished members of the alumni association for their contributions to national development and public service, also honoured other notable Nigerians, including Brigadier General Sani Usman Kukasheka (Rtd), mni, and Major General Zamani Lekwot (Rtd), for their enduring legacies in strategic leadership and service to the nation.
Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed, while receiving his award, expressed heartfelt appreciation on behalf of all the recipients. He described the honour as a testament to the collective effort of public officers striving to uphold national values through service and policy implementation. He pledged continued dedication to the ideals of the National Institute and the advancement of road safety across Nigeria.
The ceremony was well attended by high-ranking government officials and members of the uniformed services. Notable among them were the Zonal Commanding Officer RS1HQ, the Sector Commander RS1.1 Kaduna, as well as other top FRSC officials and stakeholders from across the northern region.
The AANI Kaduna Chapter’s recognition of excellence underscores its commitment to promoting good governance, professionalism, and the application of strategic thinking in public administration. The event also served as a platform for networking among alumni and reaffirming their collective resolve to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s development trajectory.
