Fountain University, Osogbo, is pleased to announce its selection by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the European Union (EU) for the Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency Educational Program 2025.
The Acting Head of the Environmental Health Science Department, College of Basic Medical and Health Sciences, Adeleke Taofik TOWOLAWI (PhD), has been nominated to represent Fountain University in this prestigious programme. Out of 30 considered institutions, Fountain University has emerged as one of the select few to participate in this initiative.
The programme’s first activity is a five-week online training course scheduled from May 17 to June 19, 2025. The outcome of this training will determine which institutions will implement the programme in the upcoming academic session, commencing October 2025.

The UNIDO-EU Circular Economy and ResourceD Efficiency Educational Program aims to promote sustainable development and resource efficiency in educational institutions.
This initiative aligns with Fountain University’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and academic excellence.
