Pioneer Nursing Students from Fountain University, Osogbo Clears Midwifery Professional Exams; Achieves 100% Pass.

Fountain University, Osogbo, an Islamic faith based university owned by the leading Socio-religious organization, NASFAT has announced a great feat achieved by its pioneer Nursing Students who graduated from the University in Nov., 2024.

The students who sat for the Midwifery Professional Examinations (A qualifying exams for nursing students, assessing their knowledge, skills, and competencies in midwifery practice) broke a record of national average of 95% pass with it’s 100%.

According to a statement signed by the PRO of the institution, Mr Taoheed Alimi, The outstanding success in the Midwifery Professional Exams is a reflection of the university’s rigorous academic programmes, expert faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities.

The statement also confirmed that the University’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Ramota Karim was elated with the development while confirming that the impressive performance is a reflection of the University’s expert faculty, and rigorous academic activities

“We are thrilled to celebrate this remarkable achievement with our pioneer nursing graduates, This 100% pass rate further demonstrates the university’s commitment to producing high-caliber graduates who are equipped to excel in their chosen professions.” The statement read.

The head of Nursing department, Dr. Mardiyat Adeyemo described the achievement as a result of the dedication of staffs and students. “We are proud of our students and look forward to their future contributions to the healthcare industry” Adeyemo said.

While appreciating the students for being good ambassadors of the institution, Alimi emphasized the University’s commitment to provide World-Class quality education that offers a level playground for a successful career.
