Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has emphasized the need for unity and shared responsibility among Nigerians to achieve national progress and greatness.
Speaking during a public engagement in Ibadan, Governor Makinde declared that the task of building a prosperous and stable Nigeria cannot be left to government alone. He called on citizens across all sectors and regions to contribute actively to national development.
“Making Nigeria great requires everybody’s contribution,” the governor stated. “From public servants to private sector players, community leaders, students, and artisans—each person has a role to play in shaping a better future for our country.”
Governor Makinde reiterated his administration’s commitment to good governance, economic growth, and social development, urging citizens to support policies and initiatives that promote national unity, accountability, and sustainable progress.
He also called for a renewed sense of patriotism and civic responsibility, noting that the country’s challenges can be overcome through collective effort, innovation, and commitment to excellence.
