August 3, 2025 — Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration in Lagos State continues to implement wide-ranging development projects under the THEMES+ policy framework, which focuses on Technology, Health and Environment, Education, Mobility, Entertainment and Tourism, and Security.
The strategic agenda positions Lagos as a modern, smart, inclusive, and globally competitive megacity, with initiatives targeting infrastructure expansion, youth empowerment, and sustainable economic growth beyond the oil sector.
Since the inception of his second term, Governor Sanwo-Olu has prioritised projects aimed at improving transportation networks, upgrading healthcare facilities, expanding access to quality education, enhancing environmental sustainability, and boosting tourism and creative industries.
The administration has also reinforced grassroots governance by ensuring that development projects are evenly distributed across all local government areas, thereby promoting balanced urban and rural growth.
