Governor Uba Sani Donates 150 Vehicles, 500 Motorcycles to Boost Security in Kaduna State

KADUNA — In a major move aimed at enhancing security operations across Kaduna State, Governor Uba Sani has donated 150 operational vehicles and 500 motorcycles to various security agencies operating within the state.

Speaking during the official handover ceremony held in Kaduna on Monday, Governor Sani said the donation was part of his administration’s broader strategy to strengthen law enforcement capabilities and improve response times in rural and urban areas affected by criminal activities.

“Our commitment to the safety and security of lives and property in Kaduna State is unwavering,” the governor stated. “These operational assets are being provided to ensure that our security agencies are better equipped to confront and dismantle the threats posed by banditry, kidnapping, and other forms of criminality.”

The distribution of the vehicles and motorcycles will cover the Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Army, Department of State Services (DSS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and the Kaduna State Vigilance Service, among others.

The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, commended the governor’s efforts, noting that the logistics support will bolster joint operations and patrols in vulnerable communities.

Representatives of beneficiary agencies expressed appreciation for the gesture and pledged to deploy the resources effectively to safeguard the state.

The initiative is part of the state government’s comprehensive security architecture, which also includes community policing efforts, improved intelligence sharing, and enhanced cooperation among federal and state security structures.
