As part of preparations ahead of the Arafat rites, the Special Committee appointed by Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, alongside the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu Abubakar, has conducted an inspection of the tents allocated to Kaduna pilgrims in Mina and Arafat.
The delegation assessed the quality, accessibility, and readiness of the facilities provided to ensure a comfortable and spiritually fulfilling experience for pilgrims from the state.
During the inspection, the officials checked essential services including bedding arrangements, ventilation, sanitation, and emergency response systems, expressing satisfaction with the efforts made by the Saudi authorities and service providers.
Speaking after the exercise, Malam Salihu Abubakar reiterated the agency’s commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of all pilgrims from Kaduna. He emphasized the importance of early preparation to address any logistical or operational challenges before the movement to Masha’ir begins.
The visit is part of Kaduna State’s comprehensive strategy to deliver a well-organized Hajj operation, in line with global best practices and in collaboration with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and Saudi partners.
