The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has issued a final notice to all intending pilgrims from Giwa Local Government Area, urging them to report to the Mando Hajj Camp by 4:00 PM today, Tuesday, May 13, 2025, as preparations for their airlift to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enter a critical phase.
According to an official statement from the agency, the deadline is non-negotiable and all affected pilgrims are expected to comply promptly to ensure smooth processing and timely movement to the Holy Land. The agency emphasized that pilgrims who fail to report to the camp within the stipulated time may risk missing their flight and forfeiting their chance to participate in this year’s pilgrimage.
The Executive Secretary of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Dr. Yusuf Ya’u Abdullahi, appealed to the pilgrims to adhere strictly to instructions, noting that compliance with timelines is vital for maintaining the orderliness and sanctity of the Hajj operations.
“Reporting on time allows us to carry out mandatory checks, verification of travel documents, medical screening, and orientation before departure. Hajj is not just a spiritual journey but one that also requires discipline and coordination,” Dr. Abdullahi stated.
Pilgrims are advised to come along with all necessary travel documents, including their international passport, yellow fever card, and other personal items as advised during the pre-Hajj orientation programmes. Security personnel and agency officials will be on ground at the Mando Hajj Camp to provide assistance and enforce order.
This final call comes as Nigeria intensifies the airlift of its pilgrims to Saudi Arabia ahead of the 2025 Hajj rites. Kaduna State is among the states scheduled in the early batch of the national airlift programme, and authorities have pledged to ensure that all pilgrims from the state travel in comfort and dignity.
With the Mando Camp already a hive of activity, the agency has also reminded pilgrims to demonstrate patience, cooperation, and respect for officials as they prepare for one of the most significant spiritual obligations in Islam.
