In continuation of the Hajj 2025 rites, Nigerian pilgrims under the care of Sana Company for Pilgrims Services, operated by Mashariq Al Dhahabia, have begun their movement from Mina to the plains of Arafat, the most significant phase of the pilgrimage.
The dispatch process, which commenced early Thursday morning, was carried out in an orderly manner under the supervision of Saudi authorities and officials of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), in collaboration with the management of Mashariq Al Dhahabia.
Dedicated buses were deployed to transport the pilgrims in groups, with special attention given to the elderly and those with medical conditions. The movement to Arafat is a key component of the pilgrimage, where pilgrims engage in intense worship, prayers, and supplication, standing in reflection at Mount Arafat, a rite known as the Wuquf, which is the pinnacle of the Hajj.
Officials from Sana Company ensured that all logistics, including hydration packs, light meals, and shaded coverings such as umbrellas, were provided to the pilgrims in preparation for the day-long stay at Arafat.
Speaking on the operation, a representative from Mashariq Al Dhahabia assured that the company is fully committed to upholding the welfare and spiritual fulfillment of Nigerian pilgrims.
The National Hajj Commission praised the smooth execution of the transportation process and urged pilgrims to focus on the spiritual essence of the day while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
As pilgrims converge at Arafat, prayers are being offered for peace in Nigeria, unity among citizens, and continued blessings upon the global Muslim Ummah.
