In a move that underscores its commitment to national development, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) has thrown its weight behind the Rabiu Olowo Foundation to drive initiatives focused on education, healthcare, and youth mentorship.
The collaboration was formally acknowledged during a recent event held in Lagos, where ICAN executives commended the Foundation’s visionary projects, particularly its scholarship programs, community health outreaches, and leadership mentorship schemes aimed at empowering underserved populations.
Speaking at the event, a representative of ICAN noted that the partnership aligns with the Institute’s corporate social responsibility goals, adding that supporting impactful grassroots initiatives like those led by the Rabiu Olowo Foundation is a strategic way to build a more equitable society.
Founder of the Foundation and former Lagos Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Rabiu Olowo, expressed appreciation for the endorsement, describing it as a significant boost to the Foundation’s mission to “inspire progress through service.” He emphasized that the focus remains on bridging gaps in education, enhancing access to quality healthcare, and nurturing future leaders through structured mentorship.
This collaboration is expected to scale the reach of the Foundation’s programs across more communities in Nigeria, fostering a ripple effect of positive change.
