The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has cautioned Nigerians to disregard a fraudulent recruitment advert currently circulating on social media.
According to a statement issued by the Commission, the advert, which directs applicants to a website identified as inecrecruitment.com, is fake and not affiliated with INEC. The electoral body clarified that it is not conducting any recruitment exercise at this time and urged the public to ignore the advert to avoid falling victim to scams.
INEC further advised citizens to rely solely on its official website and verified communication channels for authentic updates on its activities.
The Commission warned that sharing personal information on fraudulent platforms poses risks of identity theft and other forms of exploitation.
