The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed all candidates for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to re-upload their West African Examinations Council (WAEC) results.
The directive follows JAMB’s decision to clear all previously uploaded results from its database, particularly those uploaded before the official release of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). The board explained that the measure was taken to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies in candidates’ admission processes.
In a statement, JAMB advised affected candidates to revisit accredited centres to update their profiles with the officially released results, warning that failure to comply could affect their chances of securing admission into higher institutions.
The board further assured students that the re-upload exercise would not attract extra charges, adding that the step was necessary to maintain the integrity of the admission process and align records with verified examination data.
Education stakeholders have urged candidates to act promptly, stressing that timely compliance is key to avoiding disruptions during the 2025 admission cycle.
