Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, on Tuesday, commissioned several transformative projects in Zaria Local Government Area to commemorate the second anniversary of Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, PhD, GCON, as Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Describing Speaker Abbas as a “humble, visionary, and compassionate leader,” Governor Sani hailed the Speaker’s contributions to Kaduna State and the nation at large. “He is not only my brother and political ally but also a dependable partner in building a peaceful and development-driven Kaduna,” the governor stated.
The event featured the inauguration of multiple infrastructure projects and the official flag-off of fertilizer distribution to farmers, reinforcing the administration’s food security and rural development agenda. Governor Sani highlighted the collaboration between his government and the Speaker as one rooted in shared values and people-centered governance.
“Speaker Abbas has redefined the essence of constituency service,” he noted. “Through his strategic interventions and personal commitment, development is reaching every corner of our state.”
Governor Sani added that the Kaduna State government remains focused on inclusive development, with ongoing investments in rural transformation, healthcare, education, agriculture, security, and social protection programs aimed at reducing poverty and empowering citizens.
“No part of Kaduna State will be left behind,” he affirmed. “Together, with leaders like Speaker Abbas, we are delivering results and setting new standards of governance in Nigeria.”
