The Kano State Government has dispatched 588 students to 15 northern states under the Students Exchange Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session, reinforcing its commitment to education, unity, and cultural integration.

The beneficiaries, comprising both male and female students, were conveyed to Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Taraba, Yobe, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Gombe, Borno, Niger, Plateau, and Kwara States.

In a statement, the Kano State Ministry of Education said the government provided the necessary logistics and financial support to ensure a safe and seamless journey for the students.

The Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, Auwal Muhammad Mustapha, confirmed the programme’s full backing by the government and commended the Commissioner for Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, for his role in sustaining the initiative.
