Keystone Bank Donates Renovated Classroom Block to Akwa Ibom School

August 25, 2025 — Keystone Bank Limited has handed over a fully renovated and furnished block of classrooms to the Akwa Ibom State Government at the Community Comprehensive Secondary School, Four Towns, Uyo.

The handover ceremony, which took place on Tuesday, was attended by government officials, education stakeholders, and representatives of the bank. The project, executed under the bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, is aimed at improving learning conditions for students and boosting access to quality education in the state.

Keystone Bank’s management noted that the intervention aligns with its commitment to supporting community development and creating opportunities for young Nigerians through investments in education. The renovated facility is equipped with modern furniture and amenities to provide a conducive environment for teaching and learning.

Akwa Ibom State officials commended the gesture, describing it as a valuable contribution to the state’s drive to enhance educational infrastructure. They urged other private sector players to emulate the bank by partnering with government to strengthen the delivery of quality education across the country.

Community leaders and parents also expressed appreciation, stressing that the project would go a long way in motivating students and improving academic performance in the school.
