King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah Welcomes First Batch of Bangladeshi Pilgrims for Hajj 2025

King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah has officially received the first batch of Bangladeshi pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj season. This group, comprising over 400 individuals, arrived in Saudi Arabia to undertake the sacred pilgrimage to Makkah and Madinah.

Upon arrival, the pilgrims were warmly welcomed by Saudi officials and representatives from the Bangladeshi consulate. They were provided with essential information and assistance to ensure a smooth transition for their onward journey to Makkah.

The Bangladeshi government, in collaboration with Saudi authorities, has implemented streamlined procedures to facilitate the arrival and accommodation of pilgrims. These measures include dedicated counters at the airport, assistance with baggage handling, and guidance on health and safety protocols.

This year, Bangladesh has been allocated a significant quota for Hajj, with thousands of pilgrims expected to perform the sacred rites in Makkah and Madinah. The first batch’s arrival sets the tone for a successful and spiritually enriching pilgrimage season.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has reiterated its commitment to providing exceptional services to all pilgrims, ensuring their safety, comfort, and the fulfillment of their spiritual duties. As more flights are scheduled, the influx of international pilgrims is anticipated to continue, reflecting the global significance of Hajj.
